It all began with Francis Fernandes, a seasoned entrepreneur who has been running a successful trading company supplying construction materials and kitchen equipment to South Africa and the USA. While excelling in his ventures, Francis noticed a significant gap in the Indian market: there were very few ready-made bridal stores catering to Catholic brides. Most brides had to rely on seamstresses to stitch their wedding gowns, with limited options for modern, high-quality, ready-to-wear designs.

Inspired by this need, Francis curated the idea of creating a store and wholesale business in India that offered beautifully crafted, ready-made bridal gowns. His vision was to provide Catholic brides with elegant, modern designs that were easily accessible, without compromising on quality or style. Felora Bridals was born, and it quickly gained a reputation in India for its timeless designs, meticulous craftsmanship, and customer-centric approach.

When I, Fedora Fernandes, moved to Sydney to complete my master’s in marketing and international business, I saw an incredible opportunity to take Felora to the next level. Australia, with its diverse and thriving bridal market, presented a chance to expand our reach and bring Felora’s unique offerings to brides and retailers here. With my father’s ambitious spirit as my guide, I decided to bring Felora Bridals to Sydney.
Today, Felora Bridals is growing as a trusted name in Australia’s bridal industry. By blending our family’s dedication to craftsmanship with my expertise in marketing and business, we aim to cater to both brides and retailers with ready-to-wear gowns that are elegant, inclusive, and competitively priced. 1. Made Fresh, Not Dead Stock
   When an order is placed, we begin the process of crafting your gown from scratch. Unlike others, we do not deliver dead stock. This ensures that every gown is tailored with fresh materials, reflecting the latest trends and our ambitious standards of quality.
2. The First Inspection – Hong Kong Office
   Our journey starts at our dedicated office in Hong Kong, where the gowns are crafted with precision and care. Once a gown is completed, a member of our team personally inspects it, ensuring that it meets our rigorous quality standards. From the stitching to the fabric and final design, every detail is carefully reviewed.
3. Shipping and Second Inspection
   Once the gown passes the initial quality check, it is shipped to its destination country. Upon arrival, our local team conducts a second inspection to ensure the gown remains in perfect condition after transit. This two-step quality control process ensures that every Felora gown is flawless before it reaches our customers.
4. Packing and Delivery
   After the final quality check, the gown is delicately packed to ensure it arrives in pristine condition. Whether it is shipped directly to a bride or a retailer, we take great care to ensure the gown is ready to shine on the big day.
